River became part of the family as a special gift for Jenny’s son’s 18th birthday, instantly winning the hearts of Jenny and her husband with his adorable lips getting stuck in his teeth and his big golden eyes sparkling with love. His affectionate nature and humorous antics brought immense joy and companionship to their lives.

In a time of grieving after the loss of Jenny’s beloved Yorkshire Terrier, River entered their lives and provided solace and healing. His presence brought a renewed sense of love and attachment, and together, they embarked on a journey of healing, forming a connection that words cannot fully describe.

River’s constant need for companionship perfectly matched Jenny’s lifestyle. He thrived on their presence, faithfully by their side, displaying loyalty and affection with every wag of his tail. River’s loving and caring nature deeply touched their lives, forging a bond that would withstand the test of time.

Recognizing River’s unique qualities and the beauty he brought to their lives, Jenny felt compelled to preserve his spirit, along with his adorable lip quirks, through a portrait session with me. River eagerly participated, bringing along his favorite toy, his beloved “man.” As the camera clicked and I made my playful “face noises,” River couldn’t resist responding with endearing head tilts and a bright expression that exuded his playful personality.

Through the portrait session, hosted by Harmony Pet Resort, we captured River’s crazy and loving self, freezing not only his cheeky face but also his captivating and endearing character. One of the cherished treasures from the session is a wrapped canvas, soon to be displayed in Jenny’s kitchen, where she can enjoy it every day.
